This Social Media Photos Show Wike’s Legacies In Rivers

The Truth Live News has seen new evidence of the former governor of Rivers state Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike’s Legacies in Obio/Akpor LGA, South South Nigeria.

A group of social media influencers’ tour of the Obio/Akpor Local Government Council Secretariat On Wednesday revealed at least a total of eight project sites bearing an insignia of Chief Wike, including the Obio/Akpor Legislative Block and the Chief Nyesom Wike Administrative Block both at the Council Secretariat, Rumuodumaya.

The group took to social Media to tell the world that the Obio/Akpor Post Graduate Hostel Blocks in Rivers State University was built by Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike when he was the council chairman and was now “adequately renovated in an independent water facility by Barr. George Ariolu, the chairman of Obio/Akpor LG Council.”

The past two years have presented the chairman of Obio/Akpor LGA, Barr. George Ariolu with the tasking responsibility of putting up a performance that “complements the extraordinary works” of the former Governor Nyesom Wike and the continuity of Governor Siminalayi Fubara,” the group confirmed the standard of work done.

The report of the group known as “social media influencers’ concerned with the development of the state and the performance of the public office holders, revealed other projects embark by the council chairman, Barr. George Ariolu.

During the fact-finding mission, it was observed that there is a massive construction going on at Woji where a 19-classroom block is being constructed for the people of Woji who have never had a public secondary school facility before.

Another project observed were the 2-story building also houses 3 offices and 24 restrooms, and a community secondary school under construction for the people of Rumuomoi who have also never had a public secondary school.

Also under construction, according to the group, is the Oginigba Market which is designed to have four units of a 20-lock-up stalls and five units of a 24-open shade.

An interface with the chairman revealed that Barr. Ariolu has also donated thirteen transformers to boost the electricity supply in thirteen communities across the LGA with five more on the way.

The chairman also intervened and rebuilt the burnt section of the Rumuepirikom Market and constructed two units of an additional ten open shade structures there as well as Perimeter fencing of GSS Ogbogoro and Rumuekini farm owned by the council have also been achieved.

The registration of pioneer students for that school is in progress as work is being rounded up on the school as It might interest you to know that “all these projects are undertaken with zero borrowing by the council,” the group said.

Human capital development including vocational skill programs, post-graduate grants, market women grants, were also revealed as some programs executed by Barr. Ariolu.

Finally, the group also toured the construction of over 1km road network in Rumuolumeni community.
