Man Commits Suicide By Hanging On A Tree After Chewing His SIM Card In Akwa Ibom (Photos)

A man has taken his own life by committing suicide in a bizzre way after chewing his SIM card in an Akwa Ibom community.

The residents of Ikot Akpan Ikpong area of Akwa Ibom state, were on Tuesday, left in toatl shock with the discovery of a man who hanged himself on a tree as he commits suicide.
 
According to online reports, the deceased identified as Afaha Obong, took his own life after he chewed his SIM card.
 
It was gathered that the deceased who is married with children, was found dangling on a cocoa tree behind his uncle’s house, as his SIM card was found in his mouth.
 
As at the time of filing this report, the reason behind the man’s grave action was yet to be ascertained.
