LSETF Kicks off Phase 2 as it begins the Screening for New Batch of Vocational Training Beneficiaries

Participants at the Employability Support Project

The Lagos State Government, through the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has commenced a new phase of its Employability Support Project, on Monday, September 24th, 2018, with the screening exercise happening at three key locations across Lagos State.

The Employability Support Project was initiated by LSETF to increase the pool of skilled manpower in the Construction, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Hospitality Entertainment, and Garment Making industries by putting young Lagosians through a free vocational training programme in order to improve their chances of getting a job.
The programme also aims to place successful trainees in jobs after training has been completed. Already, a good number of organizations have indicated interest in hiring workers from the programme.
The Employability Support Project presents a good opportunity for unemployed youths in Lagos State to empower themselves, start a career in their chosen field and drastically improve their prospects.
To apply for the programme or request to hire trained and certified workers, please visit www.lsesp.ng.
