J. Cole’s anticipated concert originally billed to hold this Saturday in Raleigh has been canceled.
The Dreamville Festival was postponed indefinitely by organizers on Monday evening in the wake of reports of Hurricane Florence expected to hit this Thursday. Over 1.5 million people have already been evacuated from the Carolina coast since the announcement of the hurricane’s advancement.
In a statement shared on Dreamville Festival’s social media platforms, the show organizers announced a refund on tickets and announced that they are working to reschedule the concert.

Due to safety concerns regarding dangerous weather, we are extremely saddened to announce today that the inaugural Dreamville Festival 2018 is being cancelled.Our team has been working tirelessly with officials from the City of Raleigh, along with our State and Federal Partners, among others, to monitor the potential negative impact of Hurricane Florence. With the current weather-related information at hand, we have together decided to cancel this year’s event for the ultimate safety of both the local citizens and festival attendees.Rest assured, we are doing everything in our power to make this event happen at a later time and we hope to share details regarding a possible new event date as soon as we possibly can. The Dreamville Festival was billed to showcase performances from Dreamville Records signees including SZA, Young Thug, Nelly, Big Sean and record label boss J.Cole.
